Hi, I’m Saad Hasnain, a designer turned lead software & AI engineer.

About me

I’m Saad Hasnain, a lead software & AI engineer and UI/UX designer based in Pakistan. Right now I’m the UI/UX Designer & Lead Web Developer at Gulf Fixing Hub in Dubai, working remotely. I started in design, moved into code, and for 8+ years I’ve built products for teams in the UAE, US, UK and Canada.

Since 2018 I’ve designed and built for more than 100 clients, kept brand systems consistent across 150+ websites, and cut delivery time by 30% with reusable component libraries.

Most products don’t fail on the idea. They fail in the gap between design and engineering. That gap is where I work.

What do I do?

Good question. Engineering, mostly, but it rarely stops there. I look at every project as a designer and an engineer at once, because a good product needs both, and most teams only hire one.

Some days I’m building AI features and agents into an existing product. Other days I’m designing a dashboard, setting up a design system, or shipping a full-stack app in Next.js and TypeScript. Different hats, one goal: software people actually use.

Fun fact: I trained as a designer first, so I usually design what I build too. I’m also studying for a BS in Computer Science, because I like knowing what’s under the frameworks.

From designerto engineer

  1. 2018

    It started with WordPress

    My first job was at Codeviberz as a junior designer and web developer. Over three years I designed and built websites for more than 100 clients with WordPress, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

  2. 2021

    Then I went senior

    At Asto Sync I led UX/UI, brand identity and WordPress development for an agency serving 250+ clients, and kept design consistent across 150+ websites. Reusable component libraries cut our delivery time by 30%.

  3. 2024

    So I went independent

    I started leading design and front-end engineering directly for clients across the UAE, US, UK and Canada, alongside contract work for Sunnyadi Digital in the UK, USNT Agency in the US and Global Intuition Brand.

  4. 2025

    And moved into AI engineering

    Today I build AI-native products end to end: agents, automations and full-stack apps. I'm also studying for a BS in Computer Science, because I like knowing what's under the frameworks.

  5. Now

    Designing and leading the web in Dubai

    I'm the UI/UX Designer & Lead Web Developer at Gulf Fixing Hub in Dubai, working remotely from Pakistan. One person owning the product's design and its website, end to end, after 8+ years of doing both.

Turns out that change was good for business. Since then, I’ve worked with teams all over the world.
